Leicester City Hockey Club & LGS Announce Exciting Partnership
Leicester City Hockey Club and Leicester Grammar School are pleased to announce a new partnership that will provide young people with the opportunity to play hockey at various levels, train as coaches and umpires, and volunteer in the community.
The partnership sees Leicester City Hockey Club provide coaches and hockey services to Leicester Grammar School. The club who are England Hockey Clubmark accredited, will also offer young people (both male and female) the chance to play hockey at various levels, including recreational, competitive, and elite. In addition, the club will offer opportunities for young people to train as coaches and umpires, and to volunteer in the community.
“Although we have played at the site for many years, we are really excited to formally partner with Leicester Grammar School” said Leicester City Hockey Club Vice-President, Sarah Treanor. “This partnership will provide all young people at Leicester Grammar School the opportunity to learn and grow with us in the sport. We are committed to developing the next generation of hockey players, coaches, and umpires, and this partnership is a step in the right direction.”

This partnership will provide our pupils with the opportunity to learn from some of the best hockey players and coaches in the country. We are committed to providing our pupils with a well-rounded education, which includes enhancing the sporting and physical ambitions too. This partnership with an established National League Club will help us achieve that goal.
